Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Arena ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Arena is developed and maintained by Arena ("we", "us", "our").

Description of Service

Arena is a web application that helps early-stage founders find their first customers. You paste a product URL and Arena searches public posts on Reddit, X, Hacker News, LinkedIn, and Product Hunt for people describing the problem your product solves, returns fit-scored leads with source links, and drafts replies you can send from your own account. Optional integrations (Slack, Linear, PostHog, Notion, Jira) aggregate customer signals once feedback is flowing. Secondary features include competitor discovery, continuous competitor monitoring, and surfacing frustrated users of a named competitor as switch-candidate leads.

Account and Access

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Plans and Billing

Arena offers a 3-day free trial (a credit card is captured at signup but no charge occurs until day 3), a Lite plan at $8/month, and a Starter plan at $20/month. Every feature is available on every plan. AI usage is metered at provider cost with zero markup; paid plans may opt into Extra Usage to keep AI features running past the included monthly credit. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account page at any time. Refunds are handled case-by-case, usually within 7 days of charge, by emailing support.

AI Content and Generated Output

Arena uses third-party large language models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and similar) to generate lead summaries, fit scores, and draft replies. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any draft reply before sending it, and for ensuring your outreach complies with the terms of the platform you send it on (Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Hacker News, Product Hunt, email). Arena does not send messages on your behalf; you send from your own account.

Public Data and Lead Sourcing

Arena sources lead information from public posts on Reddit, X, Hacker News, LinkedIn, and Product Hunt. You agree to use surfaced lead information in compliance with each platform's terms of service and applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant). You agree not to use Arena to harass, spam, scrape at scale beyond rate limits, or target protected classes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: reverse-engineering the Service, using it to violate any laws, or attempting to access systems without authorization. You retain ownership of all content you create using Arena.

Intellectual Property

Arena and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Arena and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your product data, signals, and generated documents belong to you.

Third-Party Services

Arena integrates with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

Arena is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the Software or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
