How does usage-based pricing work?+
Every AI feature in Arena runs on LLM tokens. We charge you at the exact cost our providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) charge us, with zero markup. Your monthly credit covers this usage. If it runs out, you can turn on extra usage and keep going at the same per-token rate.
What counts as AI usage?+
Anything that calls an AI model: lead finder scans across the five platforms, fit scoring on every lead, competitor radar scans and monitoring, Hijack searches, founder copilot chat, signal classification, and spec generation. Each call costs a different amount depending on the model and how many tokens are processed.
What happens when I run out of credit?+
AI features pause until your credit resets at the start of your next billing period. On Lite and Starter, you can turn on "Extra Usage" in your account settings to keep going. Extra usage is billed at cost through Stripe at the end of the period.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?+
Yes. You get $5 of AI credit, on us, and 3 days to explore every feature. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?+
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel with one click from your account page. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Do all plans include the same features?+
Yes. Every feature is available on every plan, including the free trial. Plans differ in the number of companies you can create (1 on trial and Lite, 3 on Starter) and radar competitor slots (2 on trial, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter).
How many companies can I create?+
The free trial includes 1 company. Lite stays at 1 company at the cheaper $8/mo price; Starter allows up to 3 companies for $20/mo. Each company gets its own workspace, signal stream, features, and integrations.
What integrations are supported?+
Slack, Linear, PostHog, Notion, and Jira. All optional — you can start finding leads with zero integrations. They become valuable once feedback starts flowing from your first customers.
Do I need to sign up to try Arena?+
No. Paste your URL on the homepage and you will see 3 fit-scored leads in under 30 seconds with no account, no credit card. Sign up only when you want to claim those leads and get 40 more.
